DELTONA -- Volusia County Sheriff's Office investigators are continuing their search for missing 82-year-old Alfonso Milian of Deltona.

"They are exploring several investigative avenues, such as learning that there has not been any activity on Milian's credit card account, and they are contacting hospitals throughout the state to see if was admitted somewhere for medical assistance," Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Haught said.

The Sheriff's Office initiated a Silver Alert through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for Milian is 5 feet 9 and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and white hair. It's unknown what he may have been wearing when he left.

It's believed that he left in a white 1996 Jeep Cherokee with Florida tag No. K423SF.

Milian suffers from beginning stages of Alzheimer's Disease and takes medications for high blood pressure and diabetes.

Milian's son contacted the Sheriff's Office on Friday morning to report that he hadn't seen Milian in about two days. The son said that Milian has left on previous occasions and forgot how to get home, and that he was found once in Marion County and once in Osceola County.

Anyone who spots Milian or has information on his possible whereabouts is asked to call Sheriff's Investigator A.J. Pagliari at (386) 860-7030.
