SANFORD, Fla. -- Sanford Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting on Poplar Avenue that resulted in a minimum of six to eight people being shot on the street -- two listed as critical -- with one or more gunmen on the loose, cops said.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- With summer turning to Fall on Tuesday, there are several constants in the weather for the I-4 corridor from Orlando to Sanford and to Daytona Beach: Hot day-time temperatures near 90 and a mix of sunshine and showers.

With that said, here is the forecast this week through Saturday for Central Florida from the National Weather Service in Melbourne: 

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
