BREAKING NEWS - Edgewater Cops: Assistance from public requested in parental abduction tonight

EDGEWATER, Fla. -- The Edgewater Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two children involved in a parental abduction on Sunday evening in the 600 block of West Indian River Boulevard.

Here is a synopsis of what has occurred, as provided by Edgewater PD:

Emily St. Clair followed the children’s father unknowingly to a gas station. When the father went inside, the mother, St. Clair, removed 7-year-old Eislee Kraus and 5-year-old Abel Kraus from his vehicle and fled the area.

St. Clair has an active felony warrant for drug possession and is under a Department of Children & Families court order prohibiting contact with the two children.

She was last seen as a passenger in a newer-model Chevrolet SUV, traveling southbound on U.S. 1 from West Indian Indian Boulevard (SR 442).

CHILD DESCRIPTIONS:

-- Eislee Kraus (DOB: 3/28/2018)

• White female;

• Blonde hair;

• Approximately 4 feet tall, 40–50 pounds;

• Last seen wearing a one-piece nightgown (possibly purple).

-- Abel Kraus (DOB: 8/24/2020)

• White male;

• Blonde hair, blue eyes;

• Approximately 3’6”, 35–40 pounds;

• Clothing unknown.

EDGEWATER POLICE WARNINGS:

• DO NOT APPROACH;

• Call 9-1-1 Immediately.
