Orlando Sentinel: Jurors sworn in for Casey Anthony capital murder trial

ORLANDO -- After 11 gutwrenching days of strikes and legal challenges by the prosecution and defense in the capital murder case against Casey Anthony in what promises to be a sensational trial overcame its first big hurdle with the seating of 17 jurors -- five of them alternates -- just after 5 p.m. today, the Orlando Sentinel reported on its website.

The jurors were sworn in by Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry under heavy security with 10 deputies surrounding the 17 panelists, according to the Sentinel.
