House passes Kosmas-sponsored 'Pay-As-You-Go' legislation: Bill would make fiscally responsible budget rules into law
WASHINGTON D.C. -- Today, Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas, D-New Smyrna Beach (FL-24), a member of the fiscally responsible New Democrat Coalition, applauded the passage of the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go (PAYGO) Act by the U.S. House of Representatives.
The measure, cosponsored by Congresswoman Kosmas, will turn PAYGO budget rules that have been in effect since 2007 into law with enforceable consequences.
