NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Once again, Henry Ford Wheeler found trouble or maybe this time trouble found him: He was beaten up overnight Sunday at a beachside bar, but police were sketchy on details.

“The fact is, elections shouldn’t matter as much as they do.” It’s disconcerting to see this statement by a member of the U.S. House in light of the uproar going on in the Middle Eastern countries.  Not just any member, mind you, but the Democtrats' leading voice on Capitol Hill, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

N. Security Council resolution instituting a no-fly zone over Libya. That resolution also authorizes “all necessary means” to enforce that resolution. What does that mean?

The whale shark, Rhincodon typus, is a slow-moving filter feeding shark and the largest of the living fish species. The largest confirmed shark is 41 feet long and the heaviest weighs more than 79,000 pounds. However, there are unconfirmed reports of whale sharks that are even larger.

Oh, come on. Does Prsident Obama have a paper bag over his head? America is headed toward financial disaster and Mr. O. thinks we should raise taxes on the “rich” and cut spending by some miniscule amount. This isn’t a solution; it’s a prescription for disaster. Congress needs to pass Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) plan to reduce our debt by trillions and put us on the path to a balanced budget. Our taxes are more than adequate to run the government once it is right-sized. It’s Congress that has “deficit attention disorder.”

Not only is Dennis off the board, but the public no longer has direct access to the Observer, which no longer has a legal physical location.
