Stetson University School of Music offers varied public events in August, September

DELAND --. The public is invited to attend the following public performances presented in August and September by the Stetson University School of Music.

Unless otherwise noted, performances take place in Lee Chapel of Elizabeth Hall, 421 N.

Tuesday, Sept. 7: Faculty Recital, Jesus Alfonzo, viola, and Michael Rickman, piano,

Friday, Sept. 10: CMENC Benefit Concert, $5 charge to all, 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 14: Faculty Recital, Tom Macklin, trumpet, and Joni Hanze-Bjella,
piano, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 17: Chamber Orchestra, Anthony Hose, conductor, and Stephen Robinson,
guitar, 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 19: Alumni Recital, Christina Lalog, piano, and Brent Turner,
baritone, 3 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 24: Faculty/Alumna Baroque Recital, Boyd Jones, harpsichord; David
Bjella, cello; Ann Adams, baroque oboe; and Tammara Phillips, baroque flute, 7:30
p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 25: Concerto Competition, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., balcony seating only

Sunday, Sept. 26: Faculty/Alumnus Recital, Earnest Murphy, tenor, and Michael
Rickman, piano, 4 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 30: University Symphony Orchestra, Meet the Music, Meet the Muse,
Anthony Hose, conductor, and Sydney Hodkinson, composer, 7:30 p.m.
