Ed Noseworthy leaving as CEO at Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach to head up Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- With the unwinding process in full swing with Adventist leaving Bert Fish Medical Center, so, too, is the hospital's chief administrative officer.

Ed Noseworthy will officially assume his new responsibilities as president/CEO with Florida Hospital Fish on July 1. Noseworthy succeeds Joe Johnson, who has accepted the position of chief operating officer for University Community Hospital in Florida Division's Tampa Bay Region.

Noseworthy has served with Adventist Health System for more than 29 years, in various roles including administrator of Florida Hospital East Orlando and Florida Hospital DeLand, administrative director of management and support services at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, administrative director of nutritional services at Florida Hospital and associate director of nutritional services at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.

Noseworthy said he and his wife, Shawn, who have two grown children, are looking forward to the opportunities this transition will bring.
