Casey getting out of jail Wednesday

 

ORLANDO -- With credit of 1,043 days already spent in jail, Casey Anthony's effective sentence is six days with her freedom coming Wednesday. Circuit Judge Belvin Perry earlier this morning handed down the maximum punishment of one year in jail for each of four misdemeanor counts of lying to police to run consecutive to each other for a total of four years.

But with gain time, her actual time left behind bars is all of six days, the final outcome for which she was initially tried on capital murder charges in the killing of her toddler daughter, Caylee, for which she was found not guilty.
