
NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Early Sunday morning temperature of 57 degrees at New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport tied a record for lows set in 2001 on that date, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
Temperatures, though, are expected to return to normal for rhis time of year with a high of 90 today and bright sunshine.
Temps will dip to 65 tonight and peak at 82 degrees on Tuesday and continue in the low 80s over the next several days with mostly sunny skies.
The first real chance of rain is overnight Wednesday at 20 percent and 30 percent on Thuersday and Friday.
