NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- People of all ages are expected to express themselves in costumes of their imagination during today's New Smyrna Beach Halloween Parade on Canal Street and NSBNews.net will be there with exclusive coverage for a third consecutive year.
The parade starts at 4 p.m. at the corner of Orange Avenue and Canal Street then east on Canal to the Chamber of Commerce parking lot for judging of the costume contest. City officials are urging parade participants to be there at 3:45 p.m.
Age groups for the costume contest are as follows: 4 years & under, 5-7 years, 8-11 years, 12-17 years, and 18 & over, and group award.
