NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- This week marks an incredibly important holiday for the heart and soul of our nation. In a time when we face economic uncertainty, military conflicts abroad, political infighting, and protestors in the street fighting for the cause du jour, it can be easy for folks to get bogged down in their daily lives.
It is important, however, to take some time to realize how thankful we, as Americans, truly are. Most of us live a quality of life that is beyond the wildest dreams of the rest of the world.

I have a loving wife, a large wonderful family, a rewarding business, and I get to give back to my community through public service. Sometimes it is truly important for all of us to step back and take a long look at the big picture.
