BREAKING NEWS Florida Highway Patrol: Motorcyclist killed in collision with vehicle in Osceola County just before 6 a.m.

ST. CLOUD, Fla. -- Troopers are on scene of a fatal crash that occurred in Osceola County at that occurred 5:55 am. involving a motorcyclist and a car.

The crash was on US-192 and Old Melbourne Highway, Lt. Kim Montes, spokeswoman for the Florida Highway Patrol, told Headline Surfer in an email media alert.

Montes said a 23-year-old St. Cloud motorist was driving a sedan north on Old Melbourne Highway and attempted to turn left, Montes said, during which she drove into the path of the motorcyclist and struck the bike. The biker, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and killed.

Headline Surfer will update this fatality as soon as the FHP releases more details.
