DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Already with two coronavirus deaths, Florida health officials say a 66-year-old Deltona woman is under quarantine for the virus - representing the first such case in Central in Florida.

So how dicey is it that upwards of 500,000 bikers are here in Daytona for Bike Week, the 10-day motorccycle rally that runs through next weekend with 16 deaths in the US and at least 253 confirmed cases throughout the country, the most recent ther Deltona woman here in Central Florida.

The rapidly spreading virus that originated in Wuhan Province in China several months back has the makings of a global pendemic. In addition to two deaths in the Sunshine State, the fist known deaths along the first known fatalities on the EAST Coast, there are 13 deaths in the state of Washington and one in California.
