Taco ‘bout cute! 🌮 Rufus is an 8-year-old Hound: This taco pup has a joyful spirit and a playful side that will melt your heart. He loves nothing more than walks, cuddles, and does best with calm canine companions.

Gigi is a 4-year-old Terrier mix rocking the pumpkin chic look🎃: She’s sweet, gentle, and absolutely adores spending time with our volunteers and staff. Gigi enjoys walks, cuddles, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Seminole County Animal Services was established in the early 1970s to have local ordinances to prevent domestic animal nuisances and to have a safe place to take stray and homeless pets.

Today, not only do they enforce ordinances, they provide such services as rabies vaccinations and microchipping as well.

They ask that you “Adopt- Don’t Shop” and come to the shelter and adopt your next family pet. They also have plenty of volunteer and foster home opportunities if you would like to help the homeless pets in the local community.

As the Seminole County Animal Services mission statement says: “We strive to preserve the lives of all animals.”
