Daytona manufacturer wins federal contract

DAYTONA BEACH -- Adsil, a Daytona Beach manufacturer of protective and energy-saving coatings, has been awarded contracts by the U.S. National Park Service and U.S. Postal Service to apply its clear coating to HVAC systems throughout the Southeast.

Federal EPA tests have shown that the coating applied to HVAC systems mitigates corrosion and reduces electricity use by 12 percent. In addition to reducing the carbon footprint, Adsil's patented coating also can be applied to metal, ceramic, and ceramic/concrete to protect against oxidation, staining, wear, and chemical reaction.
