DELTONA -- A 24-year-old Deltona man is accused of two counts of sexual battery on children under 12 after engaging in sexual intercourse with his girlfriend in front of a boy and a girl, both under 5, as well as molesting them and trying to get them to have sex with each other, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said.
Hailie Michael Martinez was arrested Wednesday and being held over the weekend without bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach.
No charges have been filed against Samantha Ramirez, 40, Martinez's girlfriend at the time of the incidents, but the case is ongoing, Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Haught said.
Haught said Martinez called authorities and reported the incidents after they moved to Texas, which occurred at Martinez' home between January and July. Ramirez also said Martinez displayed child porn videos to the children while they had sex in front of the home computer, Haught added.
