Elderly DeLand man with medical needs still missing

DELTONA -- The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Deltona man reported missing by his family on Friday.

Alfonso Milian, 82, suffers from beginning stages of Alzheimer's Disease and takes medications for high blood pressure and diabetes.

Milian's son contacted the Sheriff's Office on Friday morning to report that he hadn't seen Milian in about two days. It's believed that he left in a white Jeep Cherokee with tag number K423SF.

The son said that Milian has left on previous occasions and forgot how to get home, and that he was found once in Marion County and once in Osceola County, according to a Sheriff's news release.

Milian is 5 feet 9 and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and white hair. It's unknown what he may have been wearing when he left.
