EDGEWATER -- Two homes were damaged and a boat destroyed by a fire Sunday night on Yule Tree Drive.
The garage of one home in the 2900 block was damaged as were the eves of the home next door.
A 15-foot boat parked in between the residences was consumed by the flames. Edgewater Fire Rescue estimated damages from the 6 p.m. fire at $50,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Assisting Edgewater were fire crews from New Smyrna Beach and Volusia County.
There were no injuries reported and the occupants were allowed to return to ther homes, though power was lost briefly to one of them.
