Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Advisory: Vehicle pacing operations along eastbound I-4 in Seminole & Volusia counties on Oct. 16

SANFORD, Fla. – A series of daytime traffic pacing operations will take place on eastbound Interstate 4 in east Seminole and Volusia Counties starting as early as 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, to conduct work along the interstate. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes or allow extra travel time, as delays are expected.

Law enforcement officers will slow traffic to below 20 mph and may bring it to a complete stop for short durations. Motorists attempting to enter the interstate at the following locations may have to wait or follow law enforcement at a reduced speed.

• Eastbound I-4 near Lake Mary Boulevard (Exit 98);

• Eastbound I-4 south of Dirksen Drive, traffic will be diverted as follows:

• Motorists on eastbound I-4 will take Exit 104, turn right onto northbound U.S. Highway 17/92, then turn right onto eastbound Saxon Boulevard, continuing east to access the entrance ramp onto eastbound I-4. Eastbound I-4 ramp to Interstate 95.
