Learn how to write your memoirs at NSB library on Sept. 24

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla -- Diana Vanderbilt of New Smyrna Beach will discuss “Writing Memoirs” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library.

Vanderbilit retired to Florida after teaching creative writing and English literature to high school and college students in New Jersey. She also developed model programs on teaching creative writing. Vanderbilt works at the Brannon Center, where she leads adults in molding their memories into memoirs.

The discussion, part of the Friends of the Library’s first membership meeting, is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The library is open seven days a week at 1001 S.
