DELTONA -- The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting incident in Deltona that sent an Orlando man to the hospital with a non-life threatening wound to his leg.
Deputies were called to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City at 3:15 p.m. when two men dropped 23-year-old Larry Coleman off there and then left. Coleman had a gunshot wound through his right leg that he said he got while visiting an unknown Deltona apartment complex. Coleman said he was in the area visiting with friends. However, he refused to give deputies details about what had happened, who was involved or where it happened, Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Haught said.
