Having just completed the 2010 Citizen's Academy Program, I wish to thank all City Departments for their presentations and information to the Citizens that took part in the program. I would recommend to any citizen interested in how our city operates to consider going through this program.
All departments were included. A lot of effort and time was spent by the city employees in providing our group with a comprehensive range of information.
It was obvious to me that we do have very dedicated, professional, and educated city employees working for us.
We all know how much time and effort it takes to maintain a household, so can you imagine what it really takes to maintain our city?
A lot.
Most of the time, these people go unnoticed, yet their responsibilities are sometimes seven days a week.
Can we say "Thank-you" every now and then?
