NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- An under-age girl was raped in a wooded area near the area of Bolton Road and Doster Drive by a man between the ages of 20 and 30, New Smyrna Beach police said Saturday,
The sexual battery occurred between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday. The rapist was described as white, with dark curly hair and a bird-type nose. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black sweat pants. The attacker was last seen leaving the area in a dark blue minivan and was not located by police.
Police did not release any further details such as how the rapist came in contact with his victim or her specific age, described only as a juvenile female.
