SANFORD, Fla. -- Sanford cops are continuing their investigation into a shooting earlier this month that left a 22-year-old man dead with gunshot wounds.
The shooting was reported around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, near 14th Street and Mangoustine Avenue.
La-Don Ja Quan Williams, 22, was found there with gunshot wounds and died a short time later at Seminole County Hospital in Sanford. A second person was hurt in the gunfire and transported to the hospital. The victim was well known to Sanford police, who have yet to release a possible motive for the criminal homicide.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the resolution of the homicide investigation. This investigation remains active and ongoing.
