Suffolk County Police dog seen biting man at funeral for slain NYPD detective

Eyewitness News ABC7 video / Aug. 1, 2025 / A Suffolk County police dog was seen attacking an individual at the funeral for NYPD Detective Didarul Islam, who was killed in the Midtown shooting. The dog was restrained, and the person bitten was not seriously injured. The incident is under investigation.
