ORLANDO, Fla. -- It's going to be unseasonably cold on Veterans Day with temperatures barely reaching the mid-50s.

Along with unseasonably cold temperatures, there is a high risk for rip currents at all Central Florida beaches.

Here is the extended forecast for Central Florida - from Daytona Beach to Orlando - from the National Weather Service in Melbourne through the weekend:  

Veterans Day: Sunny, with a high near 56. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. North northeast wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 69. North northwest wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 74. North wind around 5 mph.

Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 50. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 76. Northeast wind around 5 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55. North northeast wind around 5 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 79. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
