DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- It looks like seasonably warm temps and mostly sunny skies to start the week with no rain sight until overnight Thursday for the Atlantic coast from Ormond Beach down to New Smyrna Beach, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

Here is the extended forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. East-southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 74. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. North wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming north-northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the morning. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low of around 53. Calm wind.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 76. Light south-southwest wind becoming south at 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 am. Partly cloudy, with a low of around 57. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
