ORLANDO, Fla. -- It looks like showers through early part of the week in Orlando, Sanford & Daytona Beach with sunny skies on Wednesday. 

Here is the Central Florida forecast from the National Weather Service in Melbourne through Saturday: 

Today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 102. West wind 5 to 10 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 77. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Monday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 3pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Sunny and hot, with a high near 96. Heat index values as high as 104. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 77. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Sunny and hot, with a high near 97. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
