NSB cops warn merchants of fake $100 bills

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- merchants throughout New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and Oak Hill are being urged by local police to be on the lookout for phony money -- specifically $100 bills.

New Smyrna Beach police detectives say so far they have received three reports of fake $100 bills being used at stores in the city.

Police say a white man and black woman are using the bills with the serial numbers: AB57062781P and  AL58485555D.

Anyone who has information on this situation is asked to call the Jacksonville office of the U.S. Secret Service at (904) 296-0133.
