Our talented bloggers working hard for you

Jeanette DiCara of Edgewater, and Angel Marie, 14, of northern Brevard County, left and right respectively, are our newest bloggers here at NSBNEWS.net. Jeanette's blog is called "Slice of Life" and it is anchored on the Community page. Angel, who was raised in New Smyrna Beach and recently moved to nearby northern Brevard, writes a blog called "Teen Times" on the Schools page.

Jeanette started taking photos for NSBNEWS.net about two months ago and I was so impressed with her photo talents and commitment I asked her to do the Slice of Life photo essay, which kind of mirrors my blof theme of "People, Places and Things," except that she focuses on phhotograpic images based on her impressions of what she sees in the community. She will also continue to take photos for display throughout the Web site. Jeanette's initial blog looks at the habitat of a hawk near the Canaveral National Seashore.

Angel is home schooled and quite inquisitive about the world around her. Her blog, "Teen Times" looks at issues from a teen's point of view. Angel, a freshman enrolled in Florida's Virtual School, writes about peer pressure and other such issues facing kids her age in her first blog entry, along with practical advice.
