We're new to the county scene and as a result, our request for the police report on the Ormond Beach shooting was not promptly e-mailed despite me efforts Monday to push hard with that police department, including reminding officials there of Florida's public records requirements. Now with the report finally in hand and some other reporting in the last 24 hours, we'll have new updates in short order.
