DAYTONA BEACH -- Despite the threat of rain, the Daytona 500 got under way just after 7 p.m. here at Daytona International Speedway. And in true racing fashion, there was a crash just a few laps in that colected 5-time Sprint Cup champion Jimmy Johnson and Danica Patrick.
