New Smyrna Beach Lions Club to hold community rummage sale

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- The New Smyrna Beach Lions Club, a community service organization since 1947, will have its semi-annual community indoor-outdoor rummage sale 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, November 16-17, at the Lions clubhouse, 2340 Sunset Drive.

The Lions are accepting all kinds of clean items, except clothing from community donors. Please phone Larry at 386-690-9124 or Bud at 386-426-5030 for drop off time at the clubhouse, or to arrange a pickup time, or any additional information. The Lions Club will have tables available for other organizations, homeowners associations, residents or other individual. Please call one of the above numbers to reserve a table for both days. A donation of $10 is requested.

All income from the rummage sale will be deposited in the Lions community service account. It will then be used for such things as sight conservation projects, hearing aids, supporting the Daytona Beach Conklin Center for rehabilitation of multi-handicapped persons, Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind, seeing and hearing dog training programs, diabetes awareness program, annual high school graduating seniors scholarships, along with other local community service activities.

The Lions thank you for your support.
