The stretch of the scenic roadway, also known as the scenic Ormond Loop, was initially closed as of Wednesday.
"Water has receded enough to safely allow traffic," Kate Sark, a community information specialist with Volusia County told Headline Surfer. "Staff with Volusia County’s Road and Bridge division will continue to monitor the road."
