Southern California firefighters rescue a dog stranded on small collection of debris at the end of a strong current in floodwaters

ABC7 video / An incredible water rescue in an Oxnard flood channel was caught on video as a strong storm drenched most of Southern California. A dog was stranded on a small collection of debris right at the end of a strong current on Tuesday, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. Firefighters responded and extended a 35-foot ladder to grab the pup and bring it back to dry land.
