DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry has released a statement on the meaning of today's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day: "It is a day that all Americans should celebrate because his dream is an unfulfilled but worthy endeavor."

The mayor posted a telling quote of MLK earlier in the day on social media that read: "I am tired of marching for something that should have been mine at birth."
