DAYTONA BEACH -- The WWE's John Cena has the perfect tune-up for his April 1 showdown in Miami against The Rock: He'll be the "honorary starter" for Sunday's Daytona 500.

Daytona 500 race? 80% chance of rain
DAYTONA BEACH -- Will we or won't we have a race at 7 p.m.? The jets are drying the track and the rain has stopped, but the clouds are very dark.
Look at it this way: The National Weather Service in Melbourne is calling for an 80% chance of rain over the next several hours. We'll let you know when we hear from NASCAR.

Daytona 500 race under way
DAYTONA BEACH -- Despite the threat of rain, the Daytona 500 got under way just after 7 p.m. here at Daytona International Speedway. And in true racing fashion, there was a crash just a few laps in that colected 5-time Sprint Cup champion Jimmy Johnson and Danica Patrick.
