NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Raheem Mostert, who starred as a running back at New Smyrna Beach High School way back when, has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of Thursday's NFL Draft.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Dwight Howard, a former Orlando Magic player and first overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, has been elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as a first-ballot inductee and was recently inducted into the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame.
