Headline Surfer video / Billie Wheeler, a Daytona Beach Shores councilwoman since 2010, is the endorsed candidate of Headline Surfer for the district 2 seat on the Volusia County Council. Her opponent, Willie J. Kimmons of Daytona Beach, was the only no-show among six candidates for three county council seats in the Headline Surfer Public candidate Debates held Oct. 21 in Holly Hill.
Headline Surfer video / Dannette Henry was endorsed in the Aug. 30 primary and finished third among three candidates for the Zone 5 seat on the Daytona City Commission. The video was made as a promo for her primary endorsement and has been clicked more than 2,200 times. Likewise, Henry is endorsed by the the online media outlet in the general elections.
