OAK HILL -- I’ve been reading with interest the fiasco that Oak Hill has become. What puzzles me most is why the city doesn’t find it necessary to do background checks on all its employees.
NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Were any of your present during the attempted presentation by our local Congresswoman Sandy Adams the other evening at city hall?
Forget what side of the political landscape that you may be on, this was a disgrace for our city, but more for its mayor.

They waited patiently through introductions of the myriad local politicians as did the man of the hour, who stood near the back next to the curtain. But when he strode to center stage it was like turning on a thousand-watt light bulb and audience members went wild. Yes, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio was greeted like a rock star.
“Keep the faith and it will happen." That's what I keep telling myself. I am in the entertainment business and like many other businesses; mine has been in the toilet. I am going to try and stay upbeat in this blog because basically, I am an optimist. However as I think about planning a 2011- '12 season, I see nothing upbeat to write about.
Could he? Would he? Should Donald Trump run for President? What qualifications does he have that are a sure-fire antidote to Obama’s never-ending spending, disastrous monetary policy, non-existent foreign policy and a host of other situations that call for leadership?
