Even New Smyrna Beach Mayor Adam Barringer, who has been pulled over several times and issued verbal warnings for speeding and running stop signs, is on board with the effort.
 

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- The cops in New Smyrna Beach are doing everything they can to get the word out: "Don't text and drive."

The New Smyrna Beach Police Department is joining national law enforcement personnel beginning today and continuing through Tuesday -- to crack down on motorists who text while driving.

DAYTONA BEACH -- The Ultimate Warrior, one of the most charismatic in-ring performers in professional wrestling and just inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this weekend prior to Wrestlemania XXX at the Superdome in New Orleans, has died. He was 54.
