Funeral arrangements are set for Bruce Rossmeyer, owner of Bruce Rossmeyer's New Smyrna Harley-Davidson on State Road 44 in New Smyrna Beach and 14 other dealerships in five states, who died Thursday in a motorcycle accident in Wyoming while on his way to the big biker rally in Sturgis, S.D. Rossmeyer's other local shops include the one on Beach Street in Daytona Beach and his massive Destination Daytona off Interstate 95 in Ormond Beach.

EDGEWATER -- An apparent electrical fire earlier today damaged R&R Custom Cabinets of Volusia County.

The 9 a.m. fire at 2747 Guava Drive was brought under control a short time later by Edgewater firefighters and is being investigated by the Fire Marshall's Office.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- A 20-year-old New Smyrna Beach man was killed Thursday night in a traffic accident in Flagler County after he lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle before being ejected, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Aaron Isaac Wyman lost control of his vehicle at 11:40 p.m. on Rymfire Drive, just west of Rae Drive, while eastbound around a curve, spinning counrt-clockwise and striking a westbound car driven by Carol Corbin, 53, of Daytona Beach, the FHP said.

He owned the Harley dealership in his namesake on Beach Street in Daytona Beach as well as Destination Daytona off Interstate 95 near Ormond Beach. Rossmeyer, who lived in Ormond Beach and Fort Lauderdale, and known for his many charitable causes, is survived by his wife and five children. He was 66.

Thelma Mabel Sepessy, 93, of New Smyrna Beach, an avid seamstress, who spent half the year here and the other half in New Hampshire and had 10 great grandchildren among her youngest survivors, died Thursday, July 30, 2009.

Teri Paul Cahill, 55, of New Smyrna Beach, who retired as owner of T Paul Hair Design in New Smyrna Beach and survived by her husband, Stephen, and four children, died Sunday, July 26, 2009.

Jana Calisse Grant, 47, of New Smyrna Beach, accused in the fatal hit-and-run accident that left a 42-year-old Port Orange man dead on the side of the road on the North Causeway, has bonded out of jail. She met a friend at her Canal Street salon soon after the fatal crash instead of rendering help, according to New Smyrna Beach police investigators who carried out an exhaustive investigation that led to her arrest eight months after Glenn Scott Gagnon was left to die on the side of the North Causeway.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Jana Calisse Grant, the 47-year-old salon owner accused of striking a pedestrian and leaving him to die and then washing his blood off her vehicle at a nearby car wash, avoided a first appearance before a judge Saturday at the Volusia Branch Jail by making bail.

Ruth Neal Jones, 73, of New Smyrna Beach, who operated a cleaning business and enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing, golfing and spending time with her family, died Friday, July 24, 2009.

Joseph Parkinson, 79, of Edgewater, a native of Lincoln, N.H., died Friday, July 24, 2009.
