Doug Walker of Winter Garden appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to serve as an Orange County court judge

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- Doug Walker of Winter Garden has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to serve as a judge on the Orange County Court in greater Orlando.

Walker, selected by DeSantis on Thursday, has served as an associate attorney at Bradford Cederberg, P.A. since 2019. Previously, Walker also served as an assistant public defender for three years in the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

Walker received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from Florida International University.

Walker fills the judicial vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Michael Deen to a circuit judgeship.
