ORLANDO, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol traffic homicide investigators have arrested 20-year-old Osbaldo Patino Vazquez of Ocoee on five counts of vehicular homicide following a lengthy investigation into a fatal crash that occurred on March 11, 2021, at Claracona Ocoee Road and Gaymar Drive.

Vazquez was booked into the Orange County Jail on Tuesday on a no-bond status.

FHP investigators allege from their investigation that Vazquez was going more than 80 miles an hour – double the speed limit – on Clarcona Ocoee Road, when he crashed into a car with six people inside, killing five of them. Three of the dead were small children.
