DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- There's a 30 percent chance of showers around mid-day today if you are headed to the World's Most Famous Beach in Daytona, but otherwise, the forecast is looking great through the weekend.

Today will bring partly sunny skies with a high near 82, along with an east wind of 15 to 20 mph. Tonight calls for a 20 percent chance of a showers with a low around 69, and wind gusts as high as 20 mph.

Here is the forecast for the rest of the week in Daytona, Sanford and Orland from the National Weather Service in Melbourne: 

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Windy, with an east wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Overnight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. 

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Overnight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. East northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. 

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Overnight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light east after midnight. 

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
