LONGWOOD, Fla. -- Mayor Matt Morgan was thrilled to be called upon for his role in a special celebration on Sunday for a city resident on his 100th birthday.

"(it) was an absolute privilege, to be the surprise guest of honor for Mr. Bob Geller on his 100th birthday today, here at Village On The Green," said Morgan, the 7-foot retired pro wrestler with the WWE. "Thank you to Bob’s son, Charles Geller, for inviting me and for setting this awesome surprise moment up! I’d like to also thank our Longwood City Clerk Michelle Longo, for putting together a very thoughtful birthday gift bag for me to present to him, on behalf of the city of Longwood."

Village On The Green always does such a great job in making their senior community feel special, Morgan continued, and Sunday's event for Geller's 100th birthday was no different. Geller, accompanied by family and friends, was all smiles. "And to show you that Bob is still as sharp as a tack at 100 years of age, in the second photo (shown here), you’ll see me leaning down, right?" Morgan asked rhetorically, adding, "What do you think he whispered to me?"

"He goes 'so does this mean you can get me out of any speeding tickets in the future?' LMAO! Before I could even say anything, he then says, 'Oh yeah, that’s right! I don’t drive anymore!'

Morgan added, "Bob is quite the pistol and then some! I also had the privilege of meeting Bob’s grandchildren, who weren’t surprised in the least that he said that to me. He then took out his cell phone, and took a selfie with me! Lol!"

Morgan, the larger-than-life public figure, who is married with one child, thanked the Geller family for including him in the birthday bash, adding, "And Happy 100th Birthday again, to my new friend, Bob."
