National Weather Service: Thunderstorms possible throughout the week ahead in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- It looks like a mixed bag this coming week weather-wise from Daytona each and the shoreline cities along I-95 and along the I-4 corridor to the City Beautiful in Orlando with a 30-4- percent chance of daytime thunderstorms through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

Here is the extended forecast:

Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 75. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light south southeast after midnight.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2 pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east in the morning. 

Monday Night: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 76. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 76. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 75. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 93. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 93. Light and variable wind becoming east southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
