ORLANDO, Fla. -- Mo Bamba, who has not been much of a factor for the Orlando Magic in the NBA Bubble play at Disney, is gone for the rest of the season due to the coronavirus.

For the second consecutive year, Bamba won't be on the post-season roster when the 8th-seeded Magic battle the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks in a first round best of seven series starting Tuesday.

Bamba, 22, who hasn't played since Aug. 2, was diagnosed with coronavirus on June 11. He reported to the Magic early last month and still had positive tests for a few days. He's only appeared in two games in the Bubble in very limited action.

"On the advice of the Magic's human performance saff and team physicians, Orlando Magic center has left the NBA campus for a comprehensive evaluation," the Magic organization said. "Bamba will be out for the remainder of the season. Bamba was originally diagnosed with COVID-19 back on June 11.

The 7-foot Bamba was the No. 6 pick of the Orlando Magic in the 2018 NBA Draft.
