ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- The Florida Department of Health is partnering with the City of Ormond Beach in offering a free drive-thru testing site in Ormond Beach for three days next week beginning on Monday.

The site will be located at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center at 399 N. U.S. Highway 1. Nasal swab tests will be available each day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Testing activities will sustain as long as supplies last.

"Pre-registering is not required but will get you through the line faster and is highly encouraged," Jenn Elston, City of Ormond Beach spokeswoman told Headline Surfer.

"It will take approximately seven business days to receive your results. The Department of Health will call you with positive or negative results at the telephone number you provided during registration."

Elston emphasized those infected with COVID-19 do not always feel sick, so you do not need to have symptoms to be tested.
